Intro to Fab Lab
 
Participants will learn basic operations of a laser engraver, vinyl cutter, and a 3D printer, including running sample projects for demonstration. Besides FabLab safety and basic operations of equipment, participants will be introduced to a variety of software with which they can create files to be used in making and creating their own items.

Upon completion of this orientation workshop, participants will have access to work independently in the FabLab during open lab times for the balance of the current semester.

Access Beginning
 
Learn the basic functions and features of Access. After an introduction to database concepts and the Access environment and Help systems, students will learn how to design and create databases. Then they will work with tables, fields, and records; sort and filter data; and set field properties and data entry rules. Students will then learn to create queries, forms, and reports.
